Fall 2019 brought a bushfire crisis to Australia. —A series of wildfires roared through over 12 million acres of the continent’s coastline negatively affecting all living things that call the majestic country home. It is assumed that 1 billion animals have lost their lives and millions more have been hurt or displaced from their habitat. After reading all of the saddening articles and browsing the heartbreaking photos, our team decided we wanted to make a difference.
After long conversations, we decided to launch Animals of Tomorrow. So, you may be wondering, why did we choose this as our company name? Well, like the fires in Australia, humans are partially to blame for the diminishing populations of certain animal species. Up to date, over 41,415 species, including animals and plant life, have been listed on the International Union for Conservation (IUCN) watch list. Over the last 500 years, humans have managed to force over 800 species into extinction.
Here at Animals of Tomorrow, we want to bring awareness to this serious issue and hopefully slow the progression. To help, we have put together specialized lines of designed merchandise to showcase the thousands of animals that are in danger of becoming extinct.
Our team has committed to donate a minimum of 15% of our profits to selected nonprofits fighting to save these endangered species and whose mission revolves around animal conservation.
